I feel that I had come into this, with good intentions, it at the behest of another that I translate this. And I took it like any other translation project. As with any translators who are not professionals, and are fans who just attempt to give information to the best of their ability - we cannot provide 100% accuracy. There is a lot open to variation and interpretation because the languages are so different, and also because we are not professionals.
This is not personal against any one person, or any message. In fact, I recieved one message though anonymous, on my translation post that was worded at least politely. However I have noticed there has been much argument, and catty remark among other translators. And the fans because of people wanting to be the most correct, or thinking others are incorrect. And I think that just dampens the whole spirit of the situation even more.
The fanbase does not need that kind of negative feeling in it, and translators do not need to bicker amongst themselves. Because this is a very delicate subject, there has been much high tension, and everyone wants it to be right, in their own way.
Everyone wants to appear to have the best meaning, and best intention. But really when there is so much 'competing' there is not really a good intention, or feeling in it, anymore.
Therefore I'm removing the translation from Konmei, not as a punishment, if any liked my translation, it's available on the web, and they can use it from there. This is a no comment post, but because I do not wish to discuss, or make a forum, or banter with others.
I think that there is enough information from various sources, and the fans will have to judge for themselves, because, after all the moral of the story is that there is no 100%.
